Supported with great bats from Frazer Hiddlestone, he led the way with 2 triples and a double for the day and also caught a great game. Adam Leech 2 singles and a double and Rhys Fairweather with 2 singles.

All in all a very solid game of baseball!!

C1’s host Mornington next week to try and get back to a 2-2 record after a slow start to the year.

C2 vs Pakenham 10-3 Win

Under 18 vs Dandenong 2-6 Loss

Darren Hiddlestone Reports

“Rnd 3 saw the U18’s host Dandenong on a clear day where sun glasses were a must. Defensively we started with Shelby Roberts on the mound with his lack of work in the bullpen over the last 6 months showing. He will be better for the outing. Josh Ashen, up from the u16’s followed to steady the ship. Catching duties were handled by Tom Seddon, also up from the 16’s. The guys made some great plays, with the highlight being a rundown play. Always a crowd favorite.

Offensively we learned from last round and we worked the counts a lot better, earning 6 walks, but also 6 K’s. Unfortunately we had 0 hits which is something we need to work on.

Player of the round was Michael Hill who did a great job defensively, make multiple plays.

Thanks to Josh, Tom and Kellan Hill who came up from the u16’s to help us out”
