By Michael Trevorah

Cheltenham suffered its first and second loss in the space of three days, after Doncaster powered it’s way to 7/5 and 6/5 wins.

On both occasions the Rustlers held 5 nil breaks, but the Dragons were able to capitalise on timely hitting to take the points

Sam Michael opened the scoring in the third with a solo home run, and a further 4 runs in the fourth saw the visitors in a strong position.

The home side gathered two of their own, and clawed their way back to take the match in the 9th innings.

The loss was marred by the ejection to Jacko Hunkin disputing an umpires decision. Tribunal hearing to follow.

Remington and Enciondo battled on the mound, with Conor Myles Chelt’s best with 2 hits and great defensive plays.

The two’s march to the finals continued with a 15/5 win,the threes and fourths on the right side of the ledger winning 11/1 and 13/6, consolidating second positions in the playoffs.

The Womens team got past Bonbeach 10 runs to 9 holding fourth spot, while the Masters made it hard for themselves for finals losing 7/3.

Both the 18’s and 16’s had convincing wins with 16/3 and 15/5 victories.
