It took 9 complete innings with just the 1 run scored ,to secure Cheltenham a return to Division 1 baseball next season.
A two out double from Rookie Dante Caruso scoring Chunky Campbell ,was enough as Pitchers from both sides had total control on the mound.
Jesse Remington collected another win, as Jack Enciondo closed out the ninth to collect the save.
Werribee were gallant in defeat, as both sides failed to make the most of their opportunities.
The twos finished on top of the Bees 8/1, as Club Coach Bryan Kloppe threw 4 innings, continuing his comeback on the hill.
In home games,the thirds stung the Bees to the tune of 12 Nil, second place on the ladder at seasons home and away rounds.
A 4/1 loss enabled the fours to finish second, finals bound.
Our Masters side had a 9 Nil crushing of Pakenham, currently fourth , with one round to play.
Although dominant early in the game, the Womens Division 3 side had a marathon 14/13 win over Springy, and head to the elimination final next Saturday against Doncaster.
