Lance Blackley pitched brilliantly – 4 strong innings 4 k’s, 5 hits plus 1 hit and 3 RBIs from the no5 spot. Veteran Rod Hind picked up 2 more hits to be 4 for 7 in a red hot start for the season. Tony Kouch nailed down the win with 3 innings of lights out relief with a blazing fast ball.
