A meeting was held this week to elect the incoming committee for the 2019/20 summer season. The Club is pleased to announce that Russell Ferguson has been elected as the new President.
President’s Message
First of all I’d like to thank the outgoing president, John Fairweather, for his efforts over the last year (especially) and his many other years on the committee. He has done a great job of steering the club back into division 1 and I’m sure that we will continue to see him round the club.
To the members, welcome to what is going to be an exciting season down at the ‘Rustler Dome’.
The committee will be working hard over the coming months to ensure that season 2019/20 is better than ever. Our new lights are fully operational, drastically improving our training and playing capabilities. We are scheduling social events already, and actively looking for sponsorship and grant opportunities to improve our facilities and members experience. Look out for more announcements in the coming months as we look to finalise our coaching appointments, announce pre-season training dates, and come and try days.
A final note, that we are actively looking to expand our social media network and boost our community presence. Members can help by sharing our advertisements for players, pre-season dates, and come and try days within their own network.
